Projects

REACH works in partnership with funders across the public, corporate and grant-giving sectors in the successful delivery of bespoke programmes.

Reaching Out

Reaching Out is a new project providing advice and skilled volunteers to frontline groups. The project works with black and minority ethnic groups, refugee and migrant groups, faith based organisations and isolated rural groups. They can benefit from an assessment of their current situation along with advice and support to identify their particular skill needs. Experienced REACH volunteers with business expertise, governance experience or other career skills matching those needs will then be assigned to each group to give them tailored help. By providing these services, the project aims to ensure groups strengthen their know-how, gain expertise and build up new skills they can use to progress their aims more effectively. Find out more.

Changemakers

In this 3-year Big Lottery funded programme, we are offering free consultancy to specially selected voluntary organisations throughout the UK. These will be organisations that are tackling disadvantage and exclusion, and which are facing specific challenges – for example difficult circumstances that require turnaround consulting, problems with operational effectiveness, difficulties in achieving growth ambitions, or the need to merge or work collaboratively with other voluntary organisations. Find out more.

North East and Cumbria

Funded by the Northern Rock Foundation, this is a programme to increase the impact and effectiveness of REACH’s service to small voluntary organisations throughout the North East and Cumbria. To find out more, contact Kathleen Urwin, Development Manager for this area.

Corporate partnerships

REACH works closely with a number of corporate clients including Barclays Bank, to help their employees or retirees find interesting and challenging volunteering opportunities. To find out more about the special service, contact Andrew Phillips, Development Director, at our main office.
