Reach currently offers a wide variety of interesting volunteering
opportunities throughout the West and East Midlands regions, These include one-off projects and regular commitments, some involving office hours and others involving time in the evenings or at weekends. We will match volunteers to the organisations that need their skills.

Ian Tyrrell
After 27 years with Barclays Bank, Ian decided to retire early. “I see volunteering as a development opportunity and the opportunity to work with interesting issues and interesting people.” With the Prince’s Trust, Ian mentored two young entrepreneurs. As an assessor, he assists the West Mercia Police with recruitment and is Chairman of the Lenches Sports and Recreation Club.
Mike Mogano
Applying his banking skills, Mike Mogano helped launch ReCOM, a Birmingham charity that recycles unwanted IT equipment from businesses, enabling people from disadvantaged backgrounds to acquire skills leading to employment opportunities. Mike used his networking contacts amongst local businesses to raise start-up funds.
